Quantum for Impact: Unlocking Productivity
Solving Industry’s Big Challenges for Economic Growth

The Quantum Australia Conference is the nation’s premier event for connecting global quantum leaders, industry decision-makers, researchers, and investors. It bridges the double-sided translation gap, showcasing how world-class research is delivering commercially viable solutions, and how industry can integrate quantum to boost productivity, accelerate innovation, and secure competitive advantage.

Building on the 2025 theme The Translation of Quantum, the 2026 conference showcases how quantum is already delivering measurable productivity and efficiency gains, unlocking economic growth, strengthening sovereign capability, and creating investable opportunities across critical sectors.

Backed by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, and representing Australia’s quantum interests on the global stage, the conference positions quantum not as a distant horizon but as an economic driver with tangible ROI today.

Australia’s National Centre for Quantum Industry Growth

Quantum Australia is a consortium which brings together all parts of Australia’s existing quantum ecosystem across industry, academia and startups. Funded by the Commonwealth Government’s Department of Industry, Science and Resources, state governments, and 13 university partners, the organisation delivers three interconnected programs:

Ecosystem Development

The Ecosystem Development Program fosters connections and collaboration across Australia’s quantum landscape, linking researchers, startups, government, industry, and investors.

Partnerships

Through the Partnerships Program, we work closely with industry, government, and research institutions to identify opportunities where quantum technologies can address real-world problems.

New Ventures

The New Ventures program fosters quantum startups and drives a culture of innovation in Australia, unlocking entrepreneurial talent to build scalable, globally relevant quantum businesses.
